Responsibilities

Resonsibilities:

Graduate Recruiting (30%)

  • Development, production, and distribution of all graduate recruiting and curriculum materials.

  • Point person for all prospective student inquiries.

  • Maintenance of domestic and international online (Slate) application process.

  • Coordination of admission decisions and fellowship awards.

  • Organization of one graduate recruitment visitation weekend annually.

Graduate Studies (40%)

  • Departmental contact for all inquires regarding the graduate program.

  • Monitoring of graduate student progress toward completion of degree requirements.

  • Assistance with graduate student awards and fellowships.

  • Administer monthly cumulative exams.

  • Organization of week-long orientation program for incoming graduate students.

  • Maintain several databases for tracking activities.

Graduate Student Payroll (30%)

  • Process forms as needed

  • Calculate and monitor stipends, awards, health fees and other applicant fees

Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently with minimum direction.

  • Strong computer skills preferrred.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of administrative experience: or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
