FT 40-hour position available, primarily days, 8 shifts and administrative on-call per unit policy
Exciting new leadership experiential opportunity available for a motivated individual to work across the spectrum of outpatient clinical services in support of Ambulatory Pre-Procedure Covid testing and Vaccine administration at r dedicated clinical sites. Opportunities to transition to Ambulatory leadership role when current testing and vaccination protocols may no longer be required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required and ability to work independently and in partnership with Nurse Manager and Ambulatory administrative team. Must have a strong clinical base and an interest/experience in Nursing leadership. Ambulatory Care experience preferred. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have 3 - 5 years’ experience as a RN. Leadership experience preferred but not required. The Assistant Nurse Manager influences process and procedure and the delivery of care in various clinical sites including patient care workflows, staffing needs and support and quality and safety outcome initiatives.
Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care.
