Ambulatory Psychiatry - Assistant Nurse Manager, Level IV

Responsibilities

The Assistant Nurse Manager develops service standards in the ambulatory clinics in collaboration with NM and clinic leadership. The ANM identifies areas for improvement utilizing surveys, benchmarks, and tracking methods and develops PI projects and measures outcomes with clinic staff. The Assistant Nurse Manager is actively involved in unit based and service activities across a variety of our ambulatory clinics. The ANM provides/ coordinates training and professional development activities for staff. Ideal candidate will have excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, and prioritization skills. RN licensure in NY, BSN required, Certification in practicing specialty by recognized accrediting agency or management within 18 months of eligibility, 3-5 five years of RN experience required, Ambulatory and Psychiatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care.
