American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Instructor - Registered Nurse, Level II

Responsibilities
The BLS Instructor is responsible for teaching BLS courses consistent with AHA guidelines and the AHA Program Administration Manual (PAM). Duties include teaching a minimum number of courses, as determined by the Training Center Coordinator, as well as, maintaining Training Center equipment and supplies. Current BLS Instructor certification REQUIRED. Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license to practice in New York State.
Qualifications
Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $ 33.00 - $ 42.90 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Schedule: Per diem position available, primarily days, some weekends/evenings as needed.
