University of Rochester ASL Adjunct Instructor in Rochester, New York

American Sign Language Program

The University of Rochester ASL Program is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the academic year 2022-23. Responsibilities include teaching two ASL language classes per semester.

Instructors from diverse communities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience with the Signing Naturally Curriculum and Blackboard platform is preferred. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Teaching ASL orequivalent.

Additional duties include providing office hours in connection with the courses and participating in the pre-and post-semester Program faculty meetings. Attendance at Program sponsored events for students is also expected.
