University of Rochester ASL Lecturer in Rochester, New York

American Sign Language Program

The University of Rochester ASL Program is seeking a full-time Lecturer for the 2022-2023 academic year. Responsibilities include teaching 4-5 sections of ASL language courses per semester.

Additional duties include providing office hours in connection with the instructor's courses, participation in the pre- and post-semester Program faculty meetings, as well as monthly faculty meetings as needed. Attendance at Program sponsored events for students is also expected.

Experience with the Signing Naturally Curriculum and Blackboard platform is preferred. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Teaching ASL or equivalent.
