The University of Rochester Department of Dermatology seeks to add a Dermatologist at the level of Assistant Professor to its Faculty. The responsibilities of this position include providing outpatient and inpatient dermatology services (with a focus on inpatient consultations), and teaching dermatology residents and medical students.
The successful candidate must have an MD or equivalent degree, with board certification or eligibility in Dermatology, and have or be eligible for a New York State medical license. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and expanding an academic clinical practice in general Dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center affiliated. The candidate will provide clinical care to inpatients and outpatients, as well as participate in educational programs for residents in Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Family Practice and medical students at the University of Rochester. Engagement in other academic pursuits may include scholarly efforts, presentation of lectures locally and nationally, and pursuit of clinical research.
