Faculty Job Description:
The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC Non-Invasive cardiologist with subspecialty training in Advanced Heart Failure. The successful candidate will join a team of 4 Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologists and 3 Transplant Cardiac Surgeons in a busy academic medical center. The University of Rochester receives referrals from across the broad region of New York State with a state-of-the-art advanced imaging and intensive care unit facilities. The position may also involve outreach travel to satellite offices. This position will offer protected time for teaching and research.
Duties include non-invasive Cardiology with a focus on advanced heart failure and/or Cardio Oncology.
Requirements include MD degree or equivalent, NY State Medical License/eligibility, ABIM certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology. Must meet all credentialing requirements including health assessment and drug testing.
