The University of Rochester's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) is expanding its faculty to support its growing education and research programs in multiple areas, including communications, artificial intelligence, robotics, nanoelectronics/photonics, quantum computing and sensing, emerging circuit technologies and systems, and VLSI.
We invite applications from outstanding candidates for an instructional-track assistant professor position in all areas of ECE. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in ECE or a related field by the time their faculty appointment begins. Successful candidates must have potential or demonstrated ability for teaching excellence at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The Dept. of ECE ( http://www.ece.rochester.edu ) is home to more than 85 full-time Ph.D. students, a vibrant MSEE program with more than 70 MS students in residence at any given time, and BS programs in ECE and Audio and Music Engineering. Salary Range: $79,000.00 - $83,000.00
The referenced pay range represents the full base range of pay for this job. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
