Responsibilities
The University of Rochester Department of Pediatrics is looking to hire a Pediatric Critical Care or Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care faculty at an Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have shown outstanding pediatric critical care accomplishment and promise, and commitment to the mission of Golisano Children’s Hospital. New York State license and DEA certification required prior to granting of privileges at Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong. Fellowship completion in Pediatric Critical Care with board eligible/certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine required for PICU faculty. Fellowship completion in Pediatric Cardiology with additional CICU training and Pediatric Cardiology board eligibility/certification will be considered for CICU faulty.
Number of months/years of experience required after obtainment of highest degree: Completion of Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship or Pediatric Cardiology fellowship with CICU additional training required.
Special skills required:
Procedural skills as pertains to standard duties of pediatric intensivist.
