Seeking a PHD trained researcher to serve as the primary interface between the Urology Chair and the URSMD Senior Associate Dean for Research. Successful candidate will assist the chair in providing oversight of the department’s research initiatives. Attend monthly leadership meetings with research chairs/vice chairs and center director, inform the Chair of proceedings and updates relating to basic and clinical research. Lead through example to expand the urologic research program. Support the research vision, goals and objectives of the department of urology. Participate in the teaching program via interaction with individual residents and students during research activities. Provide mentoring of other faculty and residents involved in research. Regular attendance and participation in department's conferences and academic activities. Work collaboratively with department administrative leadership to identify internal and external funding sources to ultimately improve the department’s NIH ranking. Promote the department through peer reviewed publications and professional conference speaking engagements.

Requirements:

PhD degree in relevant scientific field of study.

Proven record of research success.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $345,000 - $425,000 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
