The University of Rochester has been a leader in child neurology and epilepsy as a subspecialty since its inception in 1967. Since 2001, the division has evolved allowing training, clinical and research programs to expand substantially. With over 8,000 outpatient and 500 inpatient visits a year, we have patients that come from across the U.S. and around the world for consultation and care.
Provide clinical care for children with epilepsy and related disorders. Participate and conduct research in conditions that cause epilepsy in children.
Candidates should have completed an ACGME accredited child neurology residency and be Board certified in Child Neurology and either Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology
The program offers outstanding opportunities for 1) participation in a large multidisciplinary child neurology and epilepsy team; 2) develop research/academic interests; 3) teaching of residents, fellows, and students.
Applicants must have a New York State medical license and pass pre-employment drug testing.
Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualification in child neurology.
