The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center and the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong is seeking a BC/BE pediatric cardiologist at the assistant professor/associate professor level with advanced training in cardiac imaging to include transthoracic, transesophageal, intracardiac and fetal echocardiography. Additional cardiac MRI and CT training/expertise is preferable but not mandatory. The candidate will also share inpatient consultative service as well as outpatient clinic responsibilities with other members of the division. In addition, the candidate will participate in the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows from our ACGME accredited pediatric cardiology fellowship program.
The Children's Heart Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center and the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong provides comprehensive cardiac services to children in the Upstate and Western New York region. Our congenital cardiac surgical program is the second largest in the State of New York and we have a dedicated 16 bed cardiac intensive care unit. Around 6000 echocardiogram are performed annually in our state of the art ICAEL accredited echocardiography Laboratory and we have a dedicated pediatric cardiac catheterization/electrophysiology laboratory equipped with state of the art biplane fluoroscopy and 3D electroanatomic mapping capability.
