We are seeking a Transplant Infectious Disease Attending for a faculty position in Transplant Infectious Disease. Candidates should be physicians who is board eligible in Infectious Disease and who have training in Infectious Disease as well as sub-specialty Fellowship training in Transplant Infectious Disease. Candidates with extensive (greater than 5 years) of experience with Transplant and Immunocompromised patients who do not have dedicated sub-specialty fellowship training in Transplant Infectious Disease will also be considered.

Transplant Infectious Disease faculty provide sub-specialty care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. They will participate in the pre-transplant evaluation of new patients flagged in the pre-transplant evaluation process as well as those identified to have known infectious issues prior to transplantation. The service will also provide consultation to the medical and surgical transplant teams with respect to risks and management of donor derived infections and management of post-transplant infectious issues. The Transplant Infectious Disease Attending on service will join the multidisciplinary Transplant rounds each morning and see and staff consults throughout the day.

Qualifications:

Individuals holding an M.D. degree or equivalent with subspecialty training in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. New York Medical License, Board Eligible. Post-offer health assessment is required.
