Full-time faculty position as Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Division at The University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, New York.
The University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), a leading academic institution, seeks outstanding faculty candidates to join the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The University of Rochester is a national leader in translational research and lung biology research and maintains a strong and active program in faculty development.
Protected time is available for basic, clinical, as well as translational research in the areas related to lung diseases including pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, sepsis, asthma, environmental pollutants, and cancer. Ample opportunities and resources for teaching are available and welcome. We have competitive fellowships in Pulmonary/Critical Care and Critical Care Medicine, with long-standing support provided by an NIH T32 training grant.
Clinical practice opportunities include the medical and surgical intensive care units, inpatient pulmonary disease consultation services, an outpatient pulmonary disease subspecialty clinics, and regional programs.

We seek individuals with an M.D. or equivalent and a passion for academic medicine who are board eligible or board certified in Pulmonary Diseases and/or Critical Care Medicine who have completed a three-year fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine to join our diverse and collegial faculty group.

Completed a three-year fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
Eligible for New York Medical License
Must meet all credentialing requirements including health assessment and drug testing
