The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry, in Rochester NY is seeking a pathologist at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank to join a rapidly growing department. The successful applicant will provide Clinical Pathology oversight services as the Medical Director to UR Medicine’s new Centralized Laboratory. Additional medical directorship at one of the affiliated hospitals in the outlying regions or time on one of the anatomic pathology services will be tailored to the qualifications and desires of the successful candidate. The candidate will also participate in departmental educational programs including residency training. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of practice experience following training. Candidates must hold an MD (or equivalent) or MD-PhD, be either CP only or AP/CP board certified and should be qualified for an unrestricted license in New York State.
