Faculty job description:

The Division of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a scientist or a physician-scientist to fill a faculty position with the option of a joint appointment in the Department of Medicine, Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. The position will hold the Dr. Eric M. Dreyfuss Professorship, which is to support a named faculty member in the Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at the Golisano Children’s Hospital to conduct research in the field of food allergy or pediatric allergy or immunology committed to the future health of children and adults.

The Department of Pediatrics is committed to enhancing pediatric allergy and food allergy research in the Center of Food Allergy under the leadership of Dr. Kirsi Jarvinen-Seppo. There are also opportunities to design, participate in and lead observational studies and interventional clinical trials as principal or co-investigator. Clinical research training programs, including an institutional KL2 program and those leading to a master’s degree, are available via the CTSA.

The Divisions provide state-of-the-art patient care and training for medical and pediatric residents and allergy/immunology fellows. They actively engage in a broad spectrum of clinical, translational, and basic research activities. Our highly successful and active primary clinical services are devoted to evaluating and managing children with various allergic and immunologic conditions.
