Responsibilities
The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry has an opening for a full time academic clinican at the Assistant Professor level. The principal focus of this position will be the provision of neurosurgical patient care at Strong Memorial, Highland and FFThompson Hospitals. It is expected that the successful candidate will develop a general practice of Neurosurgery in conjunction with his/her subspeciality interests which will also incorporate both outpatient and inpatient activities In concert with his/her clinical duties, it is anticipated that the candidate will actively participate in regional outreach, education activities and CME programs.
Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Neurosurgery, and eligible for NYS Medical License.
