Responsibilities

This role will include: strategic and financial planning; developing and executing short/long term goals that align with our strategic initiatives, as well as project and program development. Our focus on patient centered care and the professional development of staff is fundamental to our success and this will be a key part of the management role. Creativity, motivation, positive attitude and good communication skills are required. MS degree preferred. Management experience required.

Qualifications

Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have 5 years experience as an RN with one to three years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Nurse Manager directs all aspects of patient care, which includes managing nursing personnel and material resources in a cost-effective manner, unit planning and the initiation of innovative clinical and management practices with emphasis on retention strategies.
