Responsibilities

The University of Rochester Eastman Institute for Oral Health is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time (Time as Reported) position at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Periodontics. Specific responsibilities will focus on teaching and supervision of patient care in the Periodontic specialty training program clinic. Candidates should possess a DMD or DDS degree or foreign equivalent and have completed an ADA approved Periodontic residency. Board certification, eligibility or educational qualification is required. Record of involvement and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary academic environment are desired for this position. Collaborations for clinical and translational research opportunities with other departments in the School of Medicine and Dentistry, Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering and Oral Biology among others are available and encouraged by the Clinical And Translational Science Institute, one of 12 institutions nationwide with funding from the National Institutes of Health to lead the emerging field of clinical and translational research.
