Responsibilities

Rochester – New York: The Departments of Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain of the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, in the School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Rochester Medical Center are seeking to hire a faculty member at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Dentistry (Part-time). Responsibilities include teaching, and supervising clinical and research activities of residents in the Orofacial Pain training program; and research and other scholarly activities related to Oral Medicine. A medical staff appointment at Eastman Dental is required.

Requirements:

• Education: DDS/DMD or equivalent degree. Post-doctoral residency in Oral Medicine or experiential equivalent in hospital-based dentistry or post-doctoral degree.

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in hospital-based (or affiliate) practice

• License/Certification Required: NYS Dental license. Must be credentialed with approved DOP per medical staff guidelines.

• Skills: As delineated in credentials and DOP

• Post-offer health assessment is required
