Responsibilities
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Provide project support to the Clinical Research Center (CRC). The CRC provides research services for investigator-initiated studies.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contact eligible patients and discuss the study protocol and procedure.
Conduct phone screening interview with interested patients.
Assists in human subject recruitment and screening activities, including reviewing study site patient databases and office records for patients that meet the protocol inclusion criteria.
Document recruitment data and keep an up-to-date recruitment log.
Assists in entering research data into data collection forms and/or study databases
Other duties and projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
A 4 year college degree preferred with training closely related to this position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong organizational and writing skills are essential. Proficiency with PC computers and Microsoft Word, Access and Excel are required.
