Responsibilities

.Seeking a team-focused professional to join our multidisciplinary care team with a passion for labor & delivery. This position collaborates with multiple disciplines & office locations to assure timeliness of care plans for patients needing induction and induction scheduling. Responsibilities include care coordination, updating of care plans, patient scheduling, communication, and education. Additional responsibilities including staff scheduling, education & mentorship. Therefore, one must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be autonomous in decision-making. The role is dependent upon experience of the labor & delivery process as well as an understanding of the workflow/census changes that indicate additional staffing needs on the labor & delivery service.

Qualifications

Bachelor in Nursing required; if currently an Associate's Degree RN, nurse has 5 years to complete the BSN. Three to Five years of Nursing experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required competence in critical thinking, interpersonal relationships and technical skills. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in NYS; certification in a Nursing specialty area preferred.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $36.37 - $47.28

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedule: PT (24 hours) position available, M-F, Holidays/Weekends per unit needs. Must be flexible with scheduling.
