Responsibilities
Position Summary
Under general direction and with latitude for independent judgment and within the framework of hospital policy, the Friends of Strong Program Assistant works directly with the Volunteer Program Manager to manage all internal aspects of Friends of Strong Volunteer and Contractor Compliance as well as other critical volunteer program activities. Work closely with the Friends of Strong Assistant Director on a sub set of financial duties and responsibilities in Workday.
Responsibilities
With input from the Volunteer Program Manager, coordinates, and implements all internal compliance efforts for the volunteer program and Friends of Strong Contractors to ensure 100% internal compliance.
Demonstrates proficiency within the volunteer tracking software, VSys, as well as MyPath learning management system, SignUpGenius, and other software programs as necessary.
Assists volunteer program manager with managing the intricate details, planning and logistics directly related to major program peaks in the spring, summer and fall.
Working closely with the Assistant Director, prepares, processes and completes monthly and quarterly ledger reconciliations and cross-verifications.

Requirements
2 years of post-high school education in secretarial studies or the equivalent required.
At least 3 years of secretarial and office experience, including 1 year in a position which demonstrated the ability to work with minimum supervision and to direct an office operation required.
Scheduling flexibility during peaks.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of staff and volunteers. Excellent customer service skills required.
Proficiency in SignUpGenius and Survey Monkey to support scheduling and survey activities for the department.
Excellent presentation and communication skills required.
Proficiency in VSys volunteer program software preferred.
Moderate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $ 17.64 - $ 24.71 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Schedule: 9:30 AM-1:30 PM; SOME WKNDS/HOLS; FLEX HOURS ON TUESDAYS
