University of Rochester Full-time non-tenure track lecturer in Chemistry in Rochester, New York

The Department of Chemistry is searching for a full-time non-tenure track lecturer to be responsible for several novel initiatives related to the instruction of General and/or Organic Chemistry Laboratory. The specific duties and responsibilities of the appointment will be determined upon consultation with the teaching and tenure track faculty instructors of general and organic chemistry. However, expected duties will include being responsible for laboratory lecture, laboratory organization and administration, teaching assistant administration and recruitment. In addition to teaching duties during the academic year, teaching of general chemistry or organic chemistry is expected during the summer months. This summer assignment includes all lectures, lab lectures, and laboratories. A Ph.D. in Chemistry is required for the position. Experience lecturing as a Lecturer/ Assistant Professor or equivalent at the college level is preferred but not required.
