Responsibilities
Seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who will work collaboratively with URMC Emergency Preparedness leadership to develop and communicate Golisano Children’s Hospital specific disaster preparedness plans. Responsibility for development of a comprehensive pediatric specific surge plan, including the provision of the necessary education across disciplines to ensure awareness as well as discipline specific responsibilities. The successful candidate will oversee design, conduct, and evaluate emergency preparedness exercises that will test GCH capabilities to respond to a variety of threats/hazards.
Qualifications
MSN required, 3-5 years of acute care pediatric experience required, leadership experience preferred, Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator certification preferred.
