8 AM-4:30 PMResponsibilities
Under the direction of the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, follow testing templates to evaluate and verify approved data edit specifications and document findings to ensure quality assurance of electronic data capture (EDC) systems for FDA regulated and non-regulated multi-site international cardiovascular clinical trials.
Work with QA Manager and a team of investigators, project managers, programmers, and IT professionals to qualify EDC systems for multiple clinical cardiovascular projects.
Utilize study templates to create test data to evaluate and verify approved requirement specifications and programming accuracy and document data results.
Participate in CRF review and assist with database layout verification and screen flow testing.
Assist in the development of data validation specifications and system requirements based on an understanding of individual study protocols.
Assist with the development and maintenance of Quality System controlled documents including Database Qualification Reports for new and maintenance system builds.
Exhibit and maintain a good working knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance to regulatory and sponsor requirements
Bachelor's degree with major course work in social or technical field and some graduate level course work in that field (or library science or information science) required
1-2 years experience in the analysis and dissemination of information required
Previous clinical trials experience preferred;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Strong proficiency with personal computers and web applications preferred.
Basic understanding of database design, software development and data analysis preferred.
Self-motivated and directed with the capability to effectively adapt to changing priorities preferred.
Strong oral and written communications skills preferred.
