POSITION SUMMARY:
This job will provide help desk call support to our clinical and office area customers. Will be taking phone calls, documenting customer needs, and helping to resolve the issue at hand with the aptitude to escalate as needed in order to resolve issues in a timely manner. This role is vital to the department in helping to keep our computer systems running healthy and efficiently in support of our many providers and staff
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Develops and maintains, interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills. Including a professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
Support Mac, Windows and Linux hardware and software, operating system basics. Provide updates to operating systems, Microsoft office Suite, XLTEK and BrainLab Systems. Troubleshooting and repair services for the departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Purchase, delivery, setup of computer equipment, peripherals and printers following the full spectrum of computer lifecycle requirements.
Support video conferencing and virtual meeting technologies including Zoom and MS-Teams.
Supports Department Website Design along with Hallway Digital Signage Media and News updates.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree in related discipline required
1 year of related experience required
or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills required
Strong oral and written communication skills required
Familiarity within the Information Technology field preferred.
Any Information Technology Certification would be a Plus.
