Information Analyst I - Inventory

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Gathers information, analyzes and interprets data and disseminates information.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under general direction within policy guidelines and approved protocols:

  • Collects data by use of questionnaires, interviews and reviewing journals and reports. May prepare some computer search strategies.

  • Maintains records and conducts correspondence with a variety of agencies and officials that provide a source for information.

  • Reviews retrieved information for pertinency to the project.

  • Prepares reports and recommendations based upon analysis of information gathered.

  • May supervise clerical staff or aides who may assist in field work.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree with major course work in social or technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $20.38 - $28.56 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
