Responsibilities

The University of Rochester Department of Medicine, Division of Allergy Immunology and Rheumatology is recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join our academic rheumatology and/or allergy practice. We are an eighteen member faculty group with world renowned members with expertise in rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, SLE, Sjogren’s Syndrome, scleroderma, clinical immunology and MSK ultrasound. The Division is a leader in providing high quality rheumatologic care, the design and implementation of innovative translational studies and clinical trials and the development of novel approaches in resident and fellowship education. The Division has 2 fully staffed clinics and infusion centers, 7 advance practice providers and a robust and talented support staff including 15 RN's working as a team to provide timely, state-of- the art patient care.

The position will entail an academic appointment in the Division commensurate with experience and activities will include patient care, supervision of fellows, residents and medical students and scholarly endeavors.

Applicants are required to be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology and/or Allergy and be eligible for licensure in the State of New York and have a strong interest in both inpatient and outpatient clinical rheumatology and/or allergy. Post offer drug screen, health assessment and PPD is required.
