Location Ambulatory Services Full/Part Time Favorite Job Regular/Temporary Regular Schedule

Full time position, Monday – Friday, Primarily days. May be an occasional weekend

Coverage will be mixed clinical and procedural at our River Road outpatient facility and FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY. The person hired will anchor our outpatient service. Hours: F.F. Thompson: Tuesday/Friday 8:00am-4:30 pm; East River Road Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 8:00am-4:30 pm


Under the general direction of the Attending Interventional Radiologist, the APP will provide approximately 70% - 80% E&M services to include consultations and follow-up. This will entail obtaining medical history, physical examination, ordering appropriate testing, obtaining consent, patient education, telemedicine services. Approximately 20% will be procedural including but not limited to paracentesis, thoracentesis, PICC line placement, central line removal. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees) using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training. Current PA/NP certification/licensure (or eligible), BLS/ACLS certification are required. An RT license is not required but is a plus.


Nurse Practitioner

Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have 5 years experience as an RN with one to three years of leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The Nurse Practitioner influences the quality and delivery of care in various roles including consultant, researcher, mentor, and practitioner. This role may be unit, program, or service based and is involved in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Physician Assistant

Completion of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program, licensure in good standing, and certified as a Registered Physician Assistant. Demonstrated clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relation skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn. This role may be unit, program, or service based and is involved in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
