Responsibilities

General Purpose:

Full-time position available (40 hour), primarily weekdays. Weekends/Off shift as indicated.

The Nurse Educator is responsible for the needs assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of a number of diverse educational programs and products provided to the Department of Nursing Practice and the URMC Clinical Enterprise. This position will primarily focus on management of the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) program, but also overlaps with AHA Training Center duties. The position involves engagement with emergency response initiatives across the Medical Center and collaboration with simulation programming. The Nurse Educator will also participate in other duties as assigned to meet other Learning and Development program needs.

Requirements:

Graduate degree in nursing/related educational field REQUIRED. Two years ofrelevant experience in education, program planning/teaching recommended. ACLS/BLS Instructor and certification a plus. Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license to practice in New York State. All interested applicants submit resume to Nursing Recruitment, Box 619-19. Pay Range

Pay Range: $85,280 - $119,392 Annual

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
