Pediatric Clinical Resource Nurse

Responsibilities

Exciting opportunity to be a part of the up-and-coming new Pediatric CRN team! Off shift bed management responsibility. The Pediatric CRN will serve as a clinical expert and resource for GCH, as well as leadership for the pediatric service. Peds CRNs are part of all emergency response teams including the Rapid Response Team, Pediatric Code Team, Ambulatory Clinic to Emergency Department (ACED) Team, and the newly developed Behavioral Emergency Response (BERT) Team, to be piloted in Spring, 2023. Peds CRNs support nurses at the bedside with procedural support and nursing interventions, high-risk, low-volume procedures such as (but not limited to) radial arterial blood draws, hemodialysis catheter accessing and de-accessing, placement of IOs, and ND tube placement. BSN and Pediatric Certification required, 3-5 years of pediatric critical care/ED experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to triage and prioritize, and the ability and flexibility to respond to ever-changing and competing demands within GCH required.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $ 85,280 - $119,392 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
