Full Time 40 hours Grade 009 OBGYN MFMResponsibilities
CLINICAL PROGRAM SUPPORT:
Provide administrative support to MFM providers, managing coordination between clinical planning, administrative, and operational processes
Liaison between referring offices, MFM team, and patients; ensure comprehensive care coordination by communicating discharge and postpartum plans
Liaison with MFM/Reproductive Genetics Administration regarding monthly reporting needs, new program initiatives, equipment purchases and correcting reporting/data problems
Provide support to schedulers, provides all template building for the clinic providers, supervises referral work queues
Manage schedules in terms of ensuring patients are scheduled correctly by reviewing the schedule in advance and making adjustments as needed, updating census, and following care plan recommendations
Development of processes in reporting and documentation templates (EMR) to ensure billing, productivity, and documentation accuracy
Supervise medical record functions, monitor compliance in conjunction with HIM.
Coordinate and scan all medical records, referrals, consents, and orders for patients referred for consultation, patients transferring care and current patients
Update communications; requests, retrievals, and follow up of external records
Work with Office Manager to restructure scheduling processes and department workflows
Cross cover other positions and help cover vacation time
PROVIDER BASED SUPPORT:
Conduct all follow up needed for patients seen in clinic, including letters, follow up calls, and forms
Assist patients with care coordination, transportation, referred to departments and external contacts
Follow up on all no showed appointments, patients who have not scheduled follow ups, and urgent scheduling with outside specialties.
Construct and deliver letters for all Fetal Care Coordinators, Reproductive Genetics, and MFM providers to patients, or for patient care.
Support Care Management for Fetal Care Coordinators to ensure patients are seeing all providers at the day they arrive for a visit
OTHER DUTIES AS REQUIRED:
College graduation or an equivalent combination of experience and training. 1 year of relevant administrative experience.How To Apply
