Faculty Job Description:
The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, is seeking an ABR certified/eligible dedicated radiologist to join the musculoskeletal division. The University of Rochester’s Imaging Department is at the forefront of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging technologies and is equipped with state-of-the-art IT and capture equipment.
Our Musculoskeletal Division offers a wide range of diagnostic services and image-guided procedures. We provide interpretation of all musculoskeletal studies using the latest technology in Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, Radiography, Conventional Computed Tomography (CT), Cone Beam CT, Dual Energy CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Ultrasound. Our experienced MSK radiologists also perform and supervise fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided joint injections, joint aspirations, CT and MRI arthrography. We collaborate closely with our Orthopedic, Pathology and Rheumatology Departments and hold interdepartmental conferences and tumor boards regularly. Our faculty is also actively engaged in the education of medical students, diagnostic radiology residents, orthopedic residents, and musculoskeletal fellows.
Candidates must have or be able to obtain a New York State Medical License, be fellowship trained, and will actively participate in performing procedures, teaching, research and service.
