UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER, Department of Religion and Classics, The Department of Religion and Classics at the University of Rochester seeks to appoint, at the associate or full professor level, a scholar of Catholic Studies to fill the John Henry Newman Chair of Catholic Studies. Candidates should be prepared to teach History of Christianity, as well as courses relevant to expertise. The Department seeks a candidate with an emphasis on social justice and liberationist movements, preferably in the global south.
