Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field and 2 years experience in education, training, program management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong customer service and organizational skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite- Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. Adobe preferred as well as Learning Management System, registration platforms, or database management. Demonstrates competency in decision making processes, effective communication, problem solving, presentation and negotiation skills. Applies excellent customer service skills to both internal participants and external stakeholders. Partners with external vendor support for programmatic needs.

Responsibilities :

With minimal direction and considerable latitude for independent judgement, performs routine and non-routine duties requiring highly advanced organizational skills and proficiency with managing multiple programs and priorities.

  • Directs, coordinates and monitors efficiency, effectiveness and quality of systems that support University-wide initiatives including, but not limited to, workplace safety initiatives and support of the student experience. Supports URMC Learning & Development educational offerings and program logistics for a number of programs within the department, ensuring that classroom logistics, registration, and participants needs are met.

  • Provide exceptional customer service with courteous and timely responses to customer inquiries and requests to in-person, telephone and email requests. Monitor program inbox and respond to messages accordingly.

  • Collaborates with the Assistant Director in Learning & Development who oversees the Affiliated Schools program at URMC, which supports and hosts visiting healthcare students seeking clinical and non-clinical experiences. Oversight and maintenance of faculty compliance, orientation, scheduling, meetings, contractual agreements, student compliance and placements. Additional support may include compiling and reporting program data, student compliance data and maintenance of a student scheduling software program. Oversees financial needs and billing invoices as needed.

  • Collaborates with the Assistant Director in Learning & Development who oversees the Workplace Safety Program, Crisis Prevention Institute as implementation occurs across URMC. Oversight and coordination of classroom logistics, instructors’ schedules, training materials, and participant’s unique needs. Develops, maintains and analyzes program data and compliance. Oversees financial components of program including invoicing, billing and ordering of program supplies.
