Position Summary:

Serves as primary project manager for major components of AHP Information systems and applications. Recommends, plans, executes and evaluates systems and technologies for Accountable Health Partners (AHP) for improvement of operations, efficient use of resources, improved employee/patient care and practice management. Supports Enterprise applications, includes assessing application upgrades, initiating issue resolution, analyzing data, customization analysis and impact assessments, and on-going training support as deemed necessary by application. Must be very knowledgeable of organization’s policies, procedures, and business operations. Coordinates assigned groups and activities, working closely with AHP Practices, Application Vendors and Leadership.


Under general direction and with latitude for independent judgment:

Serves as primary project manager for major components of AHP Information systems and applications.

Functional job responsibilities include:

Enterprise Application Management:

  • Manage the creation of reports to meet multiple requirements for providing data to AHP members, internal team members, and business partners.

  • Coordinate activities with other technical and applications specialists. Support all project team members with application and information systems knowledge.

  • Develop processes and procedures for system data quality assurance checks and corrective measures. Manage the development and documentation as applicable by application.

  • Actively participates in AHP and community meetings as applicable, to assist with application information.

  • Manage system training, as applicable.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate software upgrades and changes.

  • Participate on Project Teams as applicable for the supported applications and integrated applications to assess impact, conduct Q/A tasks and testing – for these systems and upstream and downstream systems.

  • Primary coordinator with vendor and customer for application upgrades – Q/A, Testing, and expansion of applications to designated area.

  • Manage requirements gathering from end users as applicable by task or project

  • Analyze new functionality in new releases to determine how it should be used

  • Manage activities with other information systems technical and applications specialists as applicable to assist with related, intergrated application upgrades, or issues.

  • Prioritize and implement requested changes to the system, including maintaining database tables and improving templates.

Application Coordination:

  • Manage meetings as required to system vendor’s representatives and internal users to ensure the system meets needs.

  • Manage technical questions, or issues, and involve other AHP groups as appropriate

  • Collect information regarding potential system enhancement needs, define, and propose priority and meet with AHP to confirm.

  • Review requested enhancements / assist with developing application project proposal – user detail.

  • Oversee the management of application database integrity.

  • Manage the application user provisioning responsibilities with team members, as applicable.

  • Manage and communicate change control processes and procedures for the system, within AHP and the Customers.


  • Primary liaison between end users and the system vendor.

  • Manage functional and application issues to resolution.

  • Develop support and issue and resolution triage processes and procedures, templates, as applicable by application.

  • As applicable, document and report application issues to systems vendor.


Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences or equivalent; 4-5 years management level experience in a financial services setting including automated systems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Exposure to healthcare setting

  • Experience with SQL or other reporting tools required.

  • Strong communication and issue follow-up skills.

  • Detail-oriented and a knack for probing for information to fully understand the underlying needs of the organization and user community.

  • Collaborative, team oriented individual.

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems, and developed critical thinking skills.
