This position requires a doctoral degree in statistics/biostatistics. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and possess good interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills. The successful individual must have experience with supporting the publication of medical research studies in peer-reviewed journals, alone or in collaboration with others, and have the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment. The position requires experience with statistical analysis and programming languages (e.g., R; SAS) and a history of success as an author on peer-reviewed, biomedical research studies. Experience with mentoring and/or teaching clinical fellows, medical and/or graduate students is strongly preferred. The position is available for 12 months initially with the possibility of renewal for one or more years depending on performance and available funding.
