Research Audiologist

The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry invites applications for a non-tenure-track Research Associate Professor. We seek candidates who utilize modern experimental approaches in animal models to address fundamental questions in neuroscience. The successful candidate will be expected to direct an independent research program and bring with them extramural funding, provide research training for graduate students and teach at the graduate level. The faculty member would be part of the interdepartmental Neuroscience Graduate Program which, along with other neuroscience-related activities, brings together a broad community of neuroscientists in affiliated departments, including Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Genetics, Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, and Pharmacology & Physiology.

Basic qualifications: PhD degree and 5 years’ experience. Post-offer health assessment is required.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $ 31,200 - $500,000 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
