Under the general supervision of the Clinton Crossings Cardiology Administrator, independently provides support for Clinton Crossings and ACG Administrators and associated Cardiology Programs. The position requires the ability to multitask while working on multiple interdisciplinary projects. The position requires knowledge of URMC policy and procedures, strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. This position requires a courteous individual with superior interpersonal and written communication skills with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Serve as the lead EPIC Super User for Clinton Crossings and ACG Cardiology clerical staff. Responsible for disseminating updates and training/educating clerical staff on system changes
Serve as lead on ERECORD quarterly updates for CC and ACG clerical staff.
Provide administrative support and tasks for Clinton Crossings /SMH Cardiology Administrators as needed
Schedule meetings as requested for CC & ACG staff/admin functions as requested.
Schedule all support staff meetings for Clinton Crossings
Prepare materials for Staff meetings, complete and disseminate meeting minutes
Serve as back up for URMC P2P procurement system
Prepare doc of day stats for CC
Manage Clinton Crossings exam room schedule/block
Complete disability forms for cardiology patients as received
Coordinate scanning services to HIM as needed.
Direct supervision of OAS staff at CC-G. Provide ERECORD support regarding workflow& front desk procedures to AC-G & CC front desk staff consistent with URMFG guidelines/policies
Provide back up and temporary vacation coverage for Heart Transplant Secretary at SMH campus as scheduled/ agreed upon.
Prepare and present monthly schedule utilization/provider reports
Prepare and report 3rd available reports as scheduled

Education: 2 years of post-high school education in secretarial studies or the equivalent. At least 3 years of secretarial and office experience, including 1 year in a position which demonstrated the ability to work with minimum supervision and to direct an office operation. Alternatively, a combination of formal training and experience equivalent to the above. Advanced administrative/secretarial skills required. Working knowledge of Outlook scheduling system and proficiency in computerized databases and MS Office suite, including Excel spreadsheet program required. Experience in cardiology a plus. Must have demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction and ability to multitask. Experience with ERECORD/EPIC preferred. Supervisory experience with clerical staff desired.
