Job Description:
The Infectious Diseases Division at the University of Rochester Medical Center is looking for a Senior Associate to conduct teaching and scholarship aligned with the division’s academic mission. The candidate will serve as the Executive Director of Center for Community Practice within the Infectious Diseases Division. Working closely with the Medical Director and other leadership in the Infectious Diseases Division, the candidate will oversee federal and state funded programs related to HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) conducted through the community based Center for Community Practice. The candidate will provide strategic guidance, expertise on relevant health policy, and contribute to grant proposals. The candidate must have a Masters level background; minimum of five years’ experience in working with HIV/AIDS and STI public health activities with state or jurisdictional health departments, a track record of leadership of teams with diverse backgrounds including the public health workforce, local, state and jurisdictional health departments and federal funders, academic clinicians; experience with curricula development and educational activities related to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI); experience responding to funding proposals; a record of scholarship. The candidate will participate in EDI teaching activities within the Department of Medicine and School of Medicine.
Requirements:
