Responsibilities

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Senior Instructor or above based on academic expertise and accomplishment. We are recruiting for a candidate with outstanding clinical research and data analytic skills to join the Department’s Center for the Study and Prevention of Suicide and to help staff its new Quantitative Analytics Group. The successful candidate will develop a program of research related to suicide risk and prevention, and will provide consultation to others in the design and analysis of research.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in psychology or psychiatry or a discipline related to suicide prevention

  • Advanced data analytic skills

  • Track record of research training and experience, with indications of early academic success.
