Responsibilities

University of Rochester Department of Psychiatry has an opportunity for psychiatrists interested in developing a career in Child Inpatient Psychiatry to join the energetic and dedicated interdisciplinary team in the pursuit of clinical and academic excellence.

This full-time position includes a faculty appointment with University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry at the rank of senior instructor, assistant professor or associate professor, commensurate with experience and accomplishments, and ample opportunities for faculty development within a robust tradition of mentorship. Teaching and clinical supervision of psychiatric residents and fellows, medical students and other trainees is an integral part of this position. Our child inpatient service includes 27 beds and a very collaborative and interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, trainees, psychologist, APP’s, RN's, psychiatric pharmacologist, and social workers.
