The Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center seek a full-time psychologist at the Senior Instructor level with an interest in evidence-based clinical service and training in the area of integrating behavioral health and neurological services to join our faculty
The successful candidate will have expertise in the evidence-based assessment and treatment functional neurological disorders, the assessment and psychotherapeutic management of behavioral health conditions in individuals with comorbid movement disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and other.
This is a leadership position, as director of this developing integrated clinic, the successful candidate would lead a team of psychotherapists working in an article 31 OMH licensed clinic in neurology, help in the program evaluation and further development of the clinic as well as collaborate with a multiprofessional team of provider. The candidate is expected to provide clinical services and contribute to the training of health professionals.
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology and be immediately eligible for licensure in New York
