FACULTY JOB DESCRIPTION:
Overview: The University of Rochester has been a leader in child neurology as a subspecialty since its inception in 1967. Since 2001, the division has evolved allowing training, clinical and research programs to expand substantially. With over 10,000 outpatient and 500 inpatient visits a year, we have patients that come from across the U.S. and around the world for consultation. Participate in care and program development for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
QUALIFICATION:
The Child Neurology Division in the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) has an opening for a full-time child neurologist for a tenure accruing position at the rank of Senior Instructor to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists at one of the country’s top-tier clinical, research, and teaching universities
Candidates should have completed an ACGME accredited child neurology residency and be eligible for Board certification in Child Neurology.
The program offers outstanding opportunities for 1) participation in a large multidisciplinary child neurology team; 2) develop research/academic interests; 3) teaching of residents, fellows, and students.
Applicants must be eligible for licensure in New York State and pass pre-employment drug testing.
SALARY:
Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualification in child neurology.
