Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the coordination and performance of blood component procedures such as cell collections and plasma exchanges for both ambulatory and inpatients. Attributes include strong interpersonal communication, flexibility, organization, and excellent IV skills. The candidate must be able and willing to collaborate with various healthcare team members throughout the hospital, independently coordinate patient care, and work within a small care team. Requires an active New York State RN license in good standing. Minimum one-year inpatient care experience required. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.
Qualifications
Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $ 33.00 - $ 42.90 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Full/Part Time:
Schedule: FT (40 hrs/ week). Primarily weekdays, some weekends and on-call responsibilities (no over-night call)
