Responsibilities

Seeking an individual with demonstrated leadership experience to assist the NM in supporting a busy infusion practice within a regional cancer center. The Pluta Infusion Assistant Nurse Manager provides supervision, leadership, and direct patient care and is the liaison between the infusion center and onsite clinics. This role also facilitates supportive care and blood transfusion referrals from other WCI centers. This position is an exciting opportunity to grow with the Wilmot Cancer Institute gaining experience and exposure to our regional practices. This candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with proven leadership and follow up skills. Strong communication skills are necessary in order to collaborate with our community and hospital partners. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or enrolled in a BSN program or current certification.

Qualifications

Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care.
